“Seasons”

The dictionary defines a season as “a time characterized by a particular circumstance or feature” or “a period of the year characterized by or associated with a particular activity or phenomenon”
As long as I have been alive, the climate has gone through changes. Changes in temperature, changes in length of daylight, changes in outdoor versus indoor activities, and changes even in the leaves on trees. Despite the offical dates of the start and ends of the season marked on the calendar, living in Wisconsin as I have, the outdoor climate doesn’t always follow these “Official dates”.

Walls of Isolation

It seems appropriate to start this Blog with a discourse on principles that have been major parts of my life at various times in my life.
The idea of “Walls of Isolation”
When I was in High School, one of my favorite movies was “The Wall” by Pink Floyd. I could identify with the character of “Pink” who had faced instances of abandonment and rejection.
Growing up, due to various circumstances such as having a prominent scar from surgery on my face and the taunts that came from classmates, I began to isolate myself to avoid the pain that the barbs caused.
